History:
Eglantine was born and raised in the small seaside town of Pepperinge Eye, a place on the east coast of England that likely dwells either in Norfolk or Suffolk County. Although cursed with Disney's Missing Parent Syndrome, she was at least raised by her father, a man who started serving the Royal Army at a very early age. By the time World War I came around - which was when Eglantine was about 11 years old - Mr. Price had been promoted to Major General and served at Vimy Ridge alongside fellow Major General Sir Brian Teagler, who would end up heading their hometown's Home Guard in the following War. At some point between the First and Second World Wars, Mr. Price passed away... this was likely some time in Eglantine's late teen years or later, considering that she lived on her own in their well-kept cottage from then on.
It is unclear when exactly Miss Price's interest in witchcraft began, but it was sometime before World War II, either before or after her father's death and may or may not have included his personal influence. However it happened, the young woman grew fascinated enough to start collecting some spellbooks in secret, along with some other "pagan" materials such as astrology charts and unpopular herbs. She kept her secret well-hidden, rarely inviting guests into her house if ever and leaving little to the imagination of the village gossip. Somewhere along the way, she found she had quite the knack for witchcraft and actually possessed some magical properties, enjoying putting this skill to everyday use.
